Instructions for poster presenters
We are anticipating a lively poster session and we see these presentations as a vital part of the event. Posters give presenters a chance to discuss their work in a less formal environment.
Guidelines for poster presenters
Please read the following information before preparing your poster:
Posters will be displayed in rooms 6-201 and 6-202 in Building 6 and the lobby area at the entrance to the SALC. Refreshments will be available at the same time downstairs in the Presentation Room.
The posters can be displayed for the duration of the conference, but presenters should be available during the allocated 90 minute poster session (1.40pm to 3.10pm) to answer questions and talk to delegates who visit the stand. The room will be open from 9am if you wish to arrive early to display your poster before the conference programme begins.
The poster stands are 210cm (high) x 90cm (wide), so the posters should be printed to fit this space. The conference organisers will provide materials for attaching posters.
Tables are available if you would like to display materials or bring a computer in front of your poster.
Information on the posters should be well organised and concise. Please include the following:
- Names of the presenters and their affiliations
Please make sure that there is not too much text.
Any pictures of charts should be clearly labeled.
Feel free to bring examples or provide handouts.
